FEAR OF REJECTION

One thing that I can not teach you how to do is "Get over the fear of rejection". What I can do however, is teach you how to make your job easier and remove rejection as ever being a problem.

The ABC’s of your Business  A=Attitude B=Belief C=Commitment

  • ATTITUDE Winners focus on what is right about is right about their business.  This way problems and set-backs become secondary and can be addressed quickly and move forward with ease.
  • BELIEF Confidence in the truth or existence of something.  A repetitive thought backed by a strong belief is the foundation and path to success.
  • COMMITMENT Pledge oneself to a stated goal.  Set your goal and work on it daily.  Winners follow through and never quit.  Practice positive thoughts that bring you joy in life.
You can’t say the wrong thing to the right people.  Find out what they want and help them with a solution.

Create your Unique Value Statement  Example:

I assist people in the home based business arena to give them the resources needed to help them make their business profitable.

How I do this is by talking to people to find out what they need and offer them a viable solution while guiding them and show them how to succeed.

(Q) What if there is a way I could show you how to generate a check EVERY month to cover your mortgage.  Would that interest you?

Now that you have piqued their interest, follow through and help them with advice and ideas to try that will grow their business.

People are looking for leadership and guidance.  You need to build a relationship with your prospects first before selling them on your opportunity.

I found answers to all of my concerns and discovered a company that does all the right things. Strong Leadership, free training, caring for people's best interests. This company help everyone succeed with their goal to retire within 24 months. These are the key attributes that I believe in and this company does all of them very well.

The True Grit Of A Leader

Are you a leader?  Not a leader that leads people through manipulation or dictatorship.  A TRUE leader. A leader who sets examples through your actions.  A leader that has people follow them because of your beliefs, your passion, your sincerity and how you conduct your life?

I invite all Leader to take inventory of yourself.  Are you:
  • Committed to give your team more than monetary gain?              [ ]Yes [ ] No
    • Willingness to give without getting?
    • Able to make friends with your team and learn from them?
    • Willing to do tasks that you ask your team to perform?
  • Rendering useful service and grow your team's trust and respect? [ ]Y [ ] N
  • Willing to share freely your fears, hopes, concerns and visions?   [ ]Y [ ] N
  • Willing to teach every team member your secrets to success?       [ ]Y [ ] N
    • Mentoring spirit with a goal to duplicate yourself?
    • Sharing your plan expressed in continuous actions?
    • Be an inspiration to all for the betterment of the team?
    • Cultivating and growing the seeds of greatness in your team?
      • Turning acorns into mighty oaks?
    • Possess and express an attitude of gratitude?
  • Continually seeking knowledge?                                                    [ ]Y [ ] N
    • Personal development plan in place and following it daily?
  • Conveying a positive attitude and believe in your future?             [ ]Y [ ] N

If you said [ ] Yes to ALL of the above, I have no more for you.

We all have work to do and the real question is are you ready to make the changes necessary to become a better leader?  A leader that people want to follow?  The truth is, if you continue with the way you are, you will get what you have right now.

You have to change your mindset, eliminate all negitive thoughts and take action.  Above all else, you must believe in yourself, and remember that persistence is the sustained effort necessary to induce faith in your desires.

I would like to take this time to personally thank Mr. Paul Hutchings, a True Leader and the host of the "Think and Grow Rich" mind-set call that takes place Monday - Friday mornings at 9:00 AM CST.  712-432-0900 access code 565762#

The Perils of Traditional MLM's

If you were to ask many home based business entrepreneurs if their business is "the best traditional MLM out there", of course you know what the answer will be.  The next question you  should ask is what is the retention rate you can expect?  If it is a whopping 40% you must realize that in truth it is more like 25% to 30% monthly retention rate where a member stays involved a couple of months after opting in.

Another discovery question is "how much inventory do you have to keep on hand?"  Oh, while your at it, why not ask "When can I expect to start earning lots of money".  Now ask yourself this, How much money is lots of money?

Think about this for a moment.  Let's role play here and say that you did join your friend's traditional MLM.  Now let's see if your conclusion sounds something like this:
  • Month 1 -   You work your tail off your first month in your new MLM.  You convince 10 friends and family members that "this is the best way to earn money at home" so they join your team.
  • Month 2   - You work yourself into near exhaustion and add another 10 team members by telling them that they can make lots of money by doing this at home.
  • Month 3 -   You have yet to make any "real money" yourself but you try and add more people to your team.  By now you realize that your team, that was at one point 20 strong, has dwindled to 8 team members (or less).  Boy, you sure don't think much of those quitters that were on your team.
  • Month 4   - You are nearing the end of your warm market. People you know don't really want ro talk to you any more because they are afraid you will just try to "sell them something".
  • Month 5   - Self doubt sets in and you yourself are having trouble believing your own sales pitch.  You start to think that if the other 2 team members that you signed on last month don't stick around and you don't start making money doing this, you're going to quit.  Then you have to try and figure out what to do with all that *&%^@* inventory that you had to buy.....
Sound firmilar?  Oh maybe you've lasted for more than 5 or 6 months before you gave up.  Maybe you are one of the fortunate ones that have luck on your side and you're still in that MLM and making some money.

Fact is, luck usually has nothing to do with your success.  Realistically, if you are in the wrong vehicle you have little hope of generating enough income to not have to go find a new J-O-B.

Enough about the disadvantages of traditional MLM's.

Stay tuned for exciting information that flies in the face of most traditionsl MLM / Direct Sales  companies.

Here's to success in all of your ventures.

I remain sincerely yours,

Mike Nelson

Wishing your life away?

Have you ever wondered why things aren't happening for you? Do you wish you were rich? Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? The truth be known, wishing will not bring riches.

The secret formula was written in 1938 and holds true even today. Many powerful people will agree that Napoleon Hill the author of "Think and Grow Rich" has turned wishers into obtainers.

You must create your Definite Major Purpose driven by a white hot burning desire for its fulfillment. A defined and detailed plan to fulfill your desire to succeed with a mindset that becomes an obsession.

"What the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve" Napoleon Hill

If in your mind you think you can not do it, you are right! Get in the habit of ignoring negative thoughts. Remove I can't, if I'd have only, worries and any excuses from your thought process that are keeping you from obtaining your desires.

Success requires no apologies, failure permits no alibis.

First and foremost, you must believe in yourself and believe in what it is that you are offering people. If you are in it for yourself, you need to change your mindset. You have to be in it for the goodness of others. Help others help themselves. Make people want to follow you and listen to what you have to say. People want to join people not companies. Build strong relationships and build a strong team.
If you continue with the way you are right now, you will get what you have right now.  You and only you can change your mindset and your desire.

You are the author of your life.  The pen is in your hand, it is your destiny.

Here's to your success!

Have a Great day.
